  • A complete public website covering the firm's presentation, expertise, news, careers and contact journeys
  • Full editorial autonomy: the team composes and reorders its own pages from ready-made content blocks, with no developer involvement
  • A careers area where candidates browse open positions and apply online with their CV, and where the firm follows each application through to a decision
  • Contact forms that reach the right recipient — the firm's general mailbox or a named partner — with every message archived and searchable
  • A single administration area covering all content, media, applications and messages, with access restricted to authorised staff

Key Features

  • Modular page builder — 16 ready-made section types (hero banner, text and image, card grids, icon grids, accordion/FAQ, tabbed content, columns, statistics, team members, calls to action, alert banners, contact blocks, social links, link lists, latest news) that editors add, reorder, deactivate and restyle per page
  • Structured expertise catalogue — expertise areas organised as a parent/child tree that automatically drives the site's mega-menu, each with its own composable page
  • News centre — articles grouped by category, paginated listings, draft/publish control with preview of unpublished items for signed-in staff, and social sharing (LinkedIn, X, copy link)
  • Careers and recruitment — job offers grouped by category, an application form on every offer plus a spontaneous application route, CV upload attached to the notification e-mail, and application tracking through New / Reviewed / Shortlisted / Rejected
  • Contact management — a general contact form and dedicated partner forms that notify the partner in question; all submissions stored in the back office with a read/unread status
  • Central media library — images uploaded once, reused everywhere, and automatically resized into thumbnail, small, medium and large variants for fast pages
  • Site-wide settings and drag-and-drop ordering — company details and social links maintained in one place, and content lists reordered by dragging rows; a maintenance/preview mode allowed the site to be reviewed privately before going live

Technical Focus

  • Built on Symfony 8 with PHP 8.4 and Doctrine ORM over MySQL, with an EasyAdmin 5 back office extended with custom CRUD controllers, custom fields and a shared form theme
  • Page sections stored as structured JSON validated per section type, with a dedicated Symfony form type and a dedicated Twig template for each type, dispatched through a single rendering component — new section types are added without touching existing pages
  • Media handled through a centralised library with server-side image variations generated on demand, and a fail-safe URL resolver so a page never breaks if an image is removed from the library
  • Front end built with Tailwind CSS 4 and Webpack Encore, with Stimulus and Turbo controllers for the mega-menu, tabs, sortable lists, animated counters and sharing — no heavyweight JavaScript framework
  • Form submissions are persisted before notification e-mails are sent and e-mail failures are logged rather than surfaced, so a mail outage can never lose a candidate or an enquiry; Doctrine metadata, query and result caching is enabled in production
